Anyway... come to find out, French is a pretty neat language- and hearing a bunch of kids (ranging in ages from 3 all the way up to 8th grade) is an awesome experience. These kids rock it. Madame Caro puts on a show every year as part of French Culture Week- and this year she chose Alice in Wonderland... she's been planning for this show for a year now... and when she learned my mom knew how to sew (well), my mom was put to work- and was thanked, very nicely, for her efforts today by being brought up on stage.
This show was absolutely amazing... was it the most amazing production of Alice in Wonderland I had ever seen? Um, no. But words cannot express how neat it was to see these kids up on stage with such confidence, performing a show almost entirely in French. I am so proud of our boy...
This picture below speaks volumes... the kindergarten class sat through the entire 1 hour and 45 minute production- and they were good the entire time. Such a good class.
The look on Jocelyn's face kills me... she is so dramatic about this song!
My mom being brought on stage and given flowers as a "thank you" for all the help she did with the costumes.
